Changes to EPIC Youth:

Epic Youth has made some changes to the sessions. From now on year 6 will join the high School group from 6:00-8:00 every second Friday as usual. The years 4 and 5 will have a special once a month session from 3:15-5:30. Please take note this is due to the lack of supervision in the younger session. Check out the Epic youth page for more information n upcoming sessions.

New altar:

After many years of construction, the church of St Joseph's Oatley finally has had the new marble altar installed and blessed in 2015 by Archbishop Anthony Fisher. There is a great thanks to be given to the parish community for their efforts, contributions and time in this anticipated effort for the new altar. We also have the new sign out the front of the church which displays the current events that happen within the community. All in all, the work has to be credited to the Lord, for enabling the finances and the people for making this project occur.

World Youth Day 2016:

This year, in the jubilee year of Mercy, we are sending three young people to World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland. The group will be heading on the Holy Land Pilgrimage in July and then on to Poland for the World Youth Day week. There they will join with thousands of young Catholic individuals in masses and talks, whilst learning and experiencing the polish culture that St Pope John Paul II came from. They will complete their journey with a three day retreat in Zakopane before heading home to Sydney. If you would like to sponsor one of the pilgrims, please make any donation in the money jar in the church foyer, or contact Jemille West (0405739444). As payments come to a close, any donation will make a difference. Thanks to everyone who already has made a contribution, it's a blessing to have had such encouragement for the journey our Oatley pilgrims will be taking. Also keep them in your prayers.
